Fork Around Edinburgh offers a Scottish guided food walking tour experience with a 3 – 3.5 hour stroll through the city of Edinburgh and some of its best restaurants and cafes, offering finest locally sourced Scottish food and drink while learning about Edinburgh’s history.
The client, Scott, approached us in search of a website that would portray the friendly, approachable Scottish spirit that his business holds at its core. He reached out to us because of our own website and social media voice, and wanted a full package of brand and website design as well as copywriting.
We utilised custom bespoke icons, animations, and graphics, and a bold orange and black/grey colour scheme to catch a visitor’s eye instantly. It was important that the website is also not only visually appealing but functional and clear, which we achieved by creating boldly contrasting sections within the pages and content simplicity and clarity.
For the brand design, we’ve provided Scott with numerous ideas all including Scottish symbols, which ultimately led to a quirky logo incorporating a Scottish flag and Edinburgh skyline. These elements are also incorporated into the website, particularly the footer to ensure brand consistency.
