How much will my website cost?
Prices for website design vary entirely based on the client’s requirements and size of the website. Our prices start from £595 + VAT for a basic one page website and £2400 + VAT for an e-commerce site.
When you meet with us for an initial chat, we will ask questions about functionality and size of the website in order to calculate how long the project will take us and from there we will be able to provide you with a quote.

Will I need to pay after the website is built?
There are a few things that you will need to pay for in order for your website to be online and secure. These are: a domain name, website hosting and an SSL certificate.

Once the website project is completed, we also strongly advice our customers to invest in a maintenance package in order to keep their website up to date with the latest technologies.

Will I need to provide the text for my website?
Most of our clients provide the text content for their websites and we simply populate it on the site. We do however offer a copy writing service at an additional cost.
We will work with you to discuss the ethos of the company, target audience and key messages and then put together industry relevant content which can be finalised and edited by yourself.
What platform do you use to make the websites?
We build all of our websites using WordPress which is a content management system. With around 27 + million live websites worldwide, it is by far the most common CMS system and we love it because it’s SEO and mobile friendly, has a great blogging functionality and most importantly, it allows our clients to edit their websites after launch saving them money in the long run.
Who will be managing my project?
Here at BlueCoo, we don’t believe in Project Managers and we like for our clients to be able to contact their website designer directly about a project, saving any miscommunication.
As a small business we endeavour to always be just a phone call away should you have an queries or questions.
How long will it take to complete my website?
The length of time for a project to be complete varies depending on project size and requirements. Providing we receive all content and assets promptly, we can generally deliver a 5 page standard website within 4 weeks.
Project timelines will be discussed with you at a consultation and a rough estimate provided alongside a quote.
Will I need to provide images for my website?
We have access to hundreds of high quality stock images which we can provide for use on the website. Alternatively you can provide your own photographic assets.
In addition to this we offer a photography service where we can take photos on your premise of staff members, team photos, actions shots, building interiors/exteriors and more. Prices for photography can be provided with a website quote.
Why are your website design prices not as cheap as others?
Here at BlueCoo Creative we believe that any size of business should have a great website and online brand, however in order to achieve this we don’t cut corners and we aim to make every website pixel perfect. In order to do this, we need to spend a little bit more time getting things absolutely right and we set our prices accordingly.
Will my website rank in search engines?
We design all of our websites with search engine optimisation in mind meaning that search engines like Google will be able to read and index the website. We do not however guarantee that your website will rank highly in google without a search engine optimisation package.
There are many many factors that contribute to a website ranking well in search engines including keyword competition, content quality etc. Search Engine Optimisation is a long term marketing technique that requires ongoing work and that’s why we offer this service as a monthly package.
Will my website work on a mobile phone?
More users are visiting websites on their mobile phones than every before and we take this into account when designing your website. Not only will your site work on a mobile phone, it will be optimised to give a mobile user the best experience.
Will I own the website once the project is completed?
Unlike some other design agencies, we choose to be very upfront and explicit about the ownership of your website. As long as the full balance of the project has been paid, you will own your website and should you wish to move to another provider for hosting, we will endeavour to assist you in doing so.
When do I need to pay for my website?
We usually ask our clients for a deposit of 50% of the total cost at the begging of the project, then the remaining 50% is paid once the website is completed as per the initial brief and both parties are happy.

Can I edit the website myself?
As we use WordPress which is a content management system, it is reasonably easy to make simple changes and edits if the client wishes to do this themselves. We can point you in the direction of useful resources for WordPress tutorials and if required provide staff training on a pro-rata rate.
